The Grandstream HT841 Analog FXO Gateway is a hybrid VoIP gateway designed to connect traditional analogue PSTN (POTS) telephone lines to SIP-based IP PBX systems. It is part of Grandstream’s HT8xx series and is typically used to bridge legacy telephone infrastructure with modern VoIP networks in business environments.
Featuring 4 FXO ports and 1 FXS port, the HT841 allows organisations to integrate multiple PSTN lines into a VoIP system while still supporting a single analogue device (such as a phone or fax machine) locally. It also includes an integrated NAT router and supports advanced telephony features for flexible deployment in hybrid communication environments.
The HT841 enables organisations to connect existing analogue phone lines directly into a VoIP system, helping to reduce dependency on traditional PBX infrastructure. It provides a cost-effective migration path to SIP while maintaining PSTN connectivity for redundancy or local calling.
Its built-in routing and provisioning capabilities make it suitable for distributed or multi-site deployments where reliability and failover are important.
